Does anyone wholesale vacant land in SWFL?

I've just listened to the podcast episode about wholesaling vacant land to builders and it seems like a great strategy. I live in the Fort Myers area and was hoping I could find someone who knows more about the subject and could help me get started. Thanks.

There are a few large players that focus on land. I have had some success personally but the margins here make it tough to make money unless you are doing volume. We pulled a list of 1,000 laser targeted owners and got an 8.9 percent response rate. We wrote a lot of offers but two of the major players are buying st 85 to 90 percent of the market. We just interviewed one of those major players

update to post. We have 9 pending with 4 closings already this year via assignments.
