Insurance Company we not renew policy after claim
My insurance company will not renew my vacant property policy after an insurance claim for stolen gas and electrical services from BG&E in Baltimore, Maryland. This leaves me in a precarious situation since the I need home owners insurance on the property. Is this legal? Can the any home owners insurance company simply refuse to renew a policy after a claim is made and even before that claim is settled? Should I seek legal counsel and or contact some insurance commission?
