Does anyone have a recommendation for TX rental property insurance? I never make claims, yet every year, it seems like the premiums go up 6-8%. All recommendations are helpful! I'm not looking for anything fancy - regular liability insurance. I prefer replacement value policies.
Try using an insurance broker who will shop around for you. Some get paid upfront (by you); others get paid from the insurance company.
I also suggest not only working with an insurance broker, but one who specializes in working with investors.
Do you have a relationship with your current agent? It sounds like they don't take the time to walk you through your renewal to let you know how the market is changing?
Forgot to tag you in my comment @Ariel K. ^^
I just get my insurance through Liberty Mutual and they basically say it's the market. Do you know any insurance brokers in the Austin, TX area?
@Ariel K. I’d be happy to discuss further and give any recommendations I’m able to. Shoot me a dm
@Ariel K. send me a PM, I have a good guy at Goosehead insurance
