Harjot,
There is no correct answer to your questions. We represent over 40 companies and are licensed to write in all states. I can tell you that what is the best Insurance Carrier price wise varies from property to Property. Factors like, Fire Protection for the town, age of the building & its systems, Rebuilding costs, claims experience, etc. can all factor in.
The best advise is to contact several Independent Agents (they represent multiple carriers) and get comparisons. At the same time evaluate the agent/agency to see if they have the knowledge and products you will need for your business. If you plan on doing any flips, reno & hold, ground up construction, Development projects, General Contracting, etc. find out if they can handle it. Like your Attorney & CPA, your Insurance Agent should be a knowledgeable in the Real Estate space.
