I remember in 1989 when my father explained to me what a recession was and why he was buying homes, fixing them and either renting them out or selling them. He saw potential in areas before they became a boom for others. I learned how to spot an investment that was looked down upon from others and turn it into a positive cash flow. My experiences range from all aspects of Real Estate as I pushed myself into opportunities such as loan processing, managing a construction office, underwriting, incorporating and managing the first Sotheby's west coast office and opening other branches successfully. Michael was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. He attended Cretin-Derham Hall for high school, where he was a three sport athlete. He then went on to play college football at the University of Notre Dame, where he holds every wide receiver record to this day. He graduated in 2012 with a degree in Sociology. Within a week of graduation he was drafted 13th overall in the NFL draft. His career spanned over eight years, playing for the Cardinals, Patriots, Vikings and Commanders. In 2016, he won a super bowl with the New England Patriots. After retiring from football, he began coaching at Concordia University, where you can still find him every Fall. He loves mentoring the players and sharing all he learned about the game. In his free time, Michael enjoys being with his wife and three young kids. Whether driving them to an activity, visiting a local museum or playing at the park, they keep him quite busy! He loves to golf (when the Minnesota weather will allow it), travel and spend time with friends and family. Michael is energetic, outgoing and an incredibly hard worker. Between his experience growing up on the east side of St. Paul to playing in the NFL, he is great at connecting with people from all walks of life.
