Seven Keys To A Successful Real Estate Business

1. Networking

This shouldn’t be shocking. Your network is in direct alignment with your net worth.

Not where you feel you should be at this stage of your life? Then look around at your inner circle and ask, “Is this group pushing and pulling me to be better?” If the answer is a resounding ‘No’ then it’s time to find people who will. I found one of the most beneficial things from starting The Jason and Pili Project Podcast, was the ability to reach so many incredible people, hear their stories, learn from their failures and understand how they became successful. It allowed us to think in a different light and get better at asking questions. The simple truth is if you can’t find the answer then you need to improve your questioning.

    2. Think Big

Starting small feels safe and comfortable. Just enough to dip your toe in the water and get that feeling of being proactive. However, the bottom line is small plans leads to small accomplishments. Want to grow a massive real estate company? Look at what the future of the company will be and plan backwards to find what should be that next logical step to get started today down the path to get there.

    3. Always Be Raising

Not so fast … This isn’t amount raising money, yet. If you want to build a massive business then you need to always be raising awareness about what you are doing. Building your brand, creating a track record, growing your team and infrastructure. If you want to raise money, it’s not going to happen by chance. People want to know you have a plan, are committed and consistent, and your message falls in lines with your actions.

    4. Get Started Now

    Actually yesterday.

Thinking tomorrow is better or next week you will have more time is a death sentence. The same story will exist then, as it does now. You can always find time. You will always tell yourself you don’t have enough money or knowledge or credit or confidence or … fill in the blank. The people who are where you want to be will have one thing in common- They got started, took action and figured out what needs to be done while doing.

You can’t ride a bike by reading a book on biking. You don’t lose weight by listening to a fitness podcast. You would built a real estate business by watching HGTV.

    5. Find An Accountability Partner

We can all use this person. Could be your wife, husband, kids, friends or teammate. That person that you make a commitment too, who will be there for you. A person you will show up and make it happen because you can’t dare let them down. Maybe you have had a personal trainer that has been this person, a teacher, a mentor or you have made it within yourself to be accountable to you, this has to be done and done today.

    6. Invest In Yourself

The most powerful investment you can consistently make is in yourself. You owe it to you. Want to do great things? Buy large apartment buildings? Flip tons of houses? None of this will ever start if you do not take the time to become that person that accomplishes such things. Each day you need to test yourself, let yourself know that you are here to do more, be more and find more and you won’t stop until you find it!

    7. Be Persistent But Patient

Nobody who has it all ever got it overnight. Social media has allowed the over-night success to look life an yesterday to today story. What it missed is the decades of losses and learning followed by losses and learning until it was figured out how to start winning. Just realize every setback is just one more lesson learned towards greatness, you just keep have to keep getting back up.

    Let’s do this!
