Brandon is correct - the agreement between the Cincinnati MLS and Zillow for the auto-push expired some time ago. Anything your agent has listed that goes to Zillow is inputted manually by someone. If the agent isn't doing it, I promise you that someone in the office is.

We are a new and growing real estate brokerage in the Dayton and Cincinnati markets that is predominantly investor-oriented. We are also active real estate investors ourselves, and so we see far more leads than we have the time, or the desire, to service, and for that reason, we have not even begun to advertise yet!

Generous commission structure tied to your experience, tailored to YOUR business model. Not enough characters here - PM with an email address for more details. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hello @Kevin White - welcome to BP! We're practically neighbors, as my husband @Darrin Carey and I are in Beavercreek. We have a monthly networking meetup nearby, and our next one is a week from Monday evening on October 12th. You're welcome to join us!

Sure thing - let's talk at the networking meeting, or feel free to give me shout next week sometime.

@Cassidy Helregel - I sent you a message with the meeting info.  We don't publicize the location everywhere only because the restaurant needs a head count for staffing purposes ahead of time, so we ask that people give us a heads-up that they're coming.

Depending on your wife's level of experience, I could sponsor her myself, however, if she has no real estate experience at all, then I'm probably not her best option, as I do not have a formal training program in place for those who are just learning the ropes. I'd be happy to talk with her (and you, if you're planning for it to be a team effort) and discuss your goals and see if we're a good fit. If we aren't, I'll be happy to recommend other appropriate brokerages based upon our discussions.

@Cassidy Helregel Welcome to BP. We are also in the Dayton area. My husband is active on here a lot and we are both active investors in the area. He is more focused on the rental side, and I manage the rehab projects. I'm also real estate broker, mostly for our stuff. We have a networking meeting on the second Monday evening of each month at a restaurant in the Beavercreek/Fairborn area. It's very informal, with a bunch of people sitting around talking shop over food and drinks beginning at 6:00 and lasting till 8:30 or until they close the place at 10:00. : ) Lately there have been about 30-35 people at the last few meetings, and a large percentage of them have come as a result of networking here on BP. Feel free to join us on Monday October 12th; if you're interested, I can PM you the details.

@Charles Milford Welcome - my husband, @Darrin Carey and I are in the Dayton area, but I am originally from Cincinnati and still do some business there as well. I strongly suggest you check out the local REIA group: cincinnatireia.com As other members have already mentioned above, this site is a wealth of information for new and experienced investors, alike.

The best advice I can give you is, based upon your current situation in terms of available time and income needs/goals, is pick a strategy, learn it like the back of your hand, and get good at it, rather than trying to figure out everything at once. Also, don't be afraid to ask for help if you get stuck on a deal, or just want a second opinion, both here on BP, and also at the local REIA.

My husband @Darrin Carey is a commercial broker - depending on what you're looking for in terms of financing, he may be able to help you. If not, he'll certainly point you in the right direction.

@Max James What my husband, @Darrin Carey has forgotten about is McSwain Pro - emphasis on PRO, because their retail locations will charge you an arm and a leg. Please contact Jon O'Connor at the Pro Division. They are located on E. Kemper Rd near Mosteller. They cater to contractors as well as people in investment real estate.

Carpet with 6lb pad installed is $1.50 / SF. LVT (luxury vinyl tile) is installed for $1.50 / SF PLUS materials. Any prep work (i.e. floor patching or leveling is extra). They have a network of independent contractors that do their installs, and they have been great to work with so far. Tell Jon that Darrin and Christina said "hello".
