My area have some listing on zillow for Pre-forclosure or auction properties, that I'm interested to make offer. I'm new to Real Estate Investing, working on to land my first deal. Did my BP calculation and analysis. it meets my criteria too. Is it safe to go after pre-forclosure or auction or there is some catch to it. Please help this newbie...

I’m in same position as you are. Except I live in Macon, GA. Smokies and Florida both are good vacation rental places near by. I’m currently reading book How to invest in real Estate by Joshua Dorkin and Brandon to get some ideas before jumping in unknown water. Its overwhelmingly knowledgeable resource and I still don’t know where to start.
