Just wanted to thank everyone for participating in this mobile app survey! The responses we received exceeded expectations. So great to know we have such an active community willing to help out. Congrats to Tina Rubin for winning the drawing! I will be sending out your gift bag soon.

Hi everyone! πŸ‘‹ I'm the Head of Product Design at BiggerPockets, and we're working on something exciting β€” a new mobile app designed to make real estate investing easier and more impactful for our community. We want your feedback to help us prioritize the features that matter most to YOU.

We’ve put together a super quick survey (it’ll only take about 2 minutes!) and would love for you to share your thoughts. Your input will be invaluable as we shape this tool to serve you better!

Also if you drop your email address (optional), we'll add you to a drawing for a BiggerPockets gift bag filled with two of our current best sellers and an intention journal!

Thank you so much for helping us build something amazing! πŸ™

In terms of the next mobile app, BiggerPockets is 100% committed to getting this one right this time around. And from an investor perspective, there's nothing I want more than being able to put BiggerPockets in my pocket!

Just this week, we've re-opened our search for a rock-star mobile app designer who will lead the charge from user experience perspective.

Here's the job description: https://apply.workable.com/biggerpockets/j/C94D6062EE/. If you know of anyone that would be an ideal fit for this role, please encourage them to apply.

We're looking at designing a mobile experience that will, in the long run, offer:

1) Networking and Community features as powerful as Reddit or LinkedIn
2) Educational/News features as powerful as the WSJ or NYT applications
3) Market and Deal Finding Capabilities as powerful as Redfin, Zillow, or Realtor.com
4) Portfolio Analysis, Property Management, and Wealth Management capabilities.

If you have any additional suggestions or features that you'd love to see in our next mobile app, please post here, or message me directly. We want to hear from you!

@Alex Evans, yep we typically do this during tenant turns. This one fell through the cracks apparently.

@Drew Sygit

@Drew Sygit, I've considered asking my property managers to put the posts in deeper. They mentioned adding rebar to the concrete as an additional counter-measure. I do like the idea of flood-lights - but sirens could get pricey (and could trigger more work orders - in the event we'd have to call someone out to turn them off). Maybe a temporary alarm that would go off after 5 minutes could work. Not sure how that would be implemented or installed. I still wonder if there is something super creative that we could come up with that would do the trick.

My condensers are being stolen from my rentals at an alarming rate. I've started to lose count. Just had another one stolen, and this time the thieves ripped the steel cage right out of the ground! Any suggestions on how this might be prevented or deterred?
