How to Make Money Off Halloween

I know that Halloween is a month away. But if you want to do some deals by October 31st, you’ve got to start today, and right now I’m going to show you how to do it.

In a nutshell, I want you to create a marketing piece and take advantage of the upcoming holiday. Here’s exactly what you will do: First, the type of marketing piece you’re going to create is a simple flyer. However, you will use orange paper with black lettering so it will look like a “typical” Halloween flyer.

Why is it important this looks like a typical Halloween flyer? So that people read it, that’s why. If you have a bright yellow flyer stuffed in a door, or in a newspaper slot, that “screams” junk mail or ad. But if it’s an orange and black flyer it could be for a Halloween parade or party or some event. Whatever it may be, it will get the person curious enough to read it and that’s all that matters.

Next, you need to come up with a headline to put across the top of the flyer.

You could do something like, “How to make your Halloween less scary this year,” or “How to take the fear out of Halloween.”

Then the flyer continues that you know Halloween can be scary for many, just like selling a house can be scary too. And that your name is John Doe Investor and you specialize in buying houses in the neighborhood and are looking to buy 2 houses in the area before Halloween and that you hope theirs can be one of them.

If you really want to get your phone ringing, make sure and include a special report with a Halloween theme such as “7 ways you could save $20,000 selling your house this Halloween.”
Once you’ve created your flyer, you need to print off 2,000 flyers and preferably more.

Then you need to go out one Saturday morning and put out all of the flyers in whatever area you like to invest. Of course, you can also hire people to put these flyers out for you.

I recommend putting out the flyers the last weekend in September or first weekend of October that way you have plenty of time to buy the houses before the end of the month.

If you decide to do this I can promise you you’ll get a lot of calls because I have done this in the past, not only with Halloween, but with other holidays like the 4th of July. The important thing to remember is that you want to emphasize you must buy 2 houses (or whatever number you choose) by October 31st.

Once you have a firm deadline it helps create a sense of urgency and you’ll likely get more calls and hopefully do more deals. Let me know how it works out for you.
