A Decade of Real Estate Insight: The BiggerPockets Blog Turns 10!

What do a bottle of fine wine, your favorite pair of blue jeans and the BiggerPockets blog have in common? They all get better with age, of course!

It’s hard to believe that it’s been TEN years (to the day!) since we posted this first article about the rising popularity of real estate investing and this one about the projected rise of Harlem, NY. Back then, BiggerPockets was a one-man show, and while I didn’t necessarily know all the ins and outs of blogging, I knew I wanted to create a space where investors (and aspiring investors) could come to learn about every aspect of real estate. More than just a static space where articles would sit archived, I wanted to create a community where entrepreneurs were encouraged to interact with one another, and to gather the knowledge they needed to empower their financial journeys.

As of the writing of this post, the BiggerPockets blog has published 6,138 articles, which have received more than 22 million views collectively.

Our articles have garnered almost 62,000 comments. We currently have over 30 regular writers contributing content on everything from epic construction project fails to complete step-by-step instructions on how to quit your job to invest in real estate.

In honor of 10 years of BiggerPockets blogging — 10 years’ worth of countless real estate tips from some of the brightest real estate minds — we want to thank all of our readers, writers and anyone who has ever contributed an opinion, story, or tip to our comments sections. Please stick around with us for the next 10 years!

What are your favorite BP blog posts of all time? What would you like to see covered on the blog that hasn’t been?

Leave your comments below, and thanks to all of our readers for making the BP blog a great community!
