No specific knowledge/experience but based on my reading of Title III of the ADA, a couple things jump out to me that I'd consider: 1) the standard for 'removing barriers' in order to be ADA-compliant is whether doing so is 'readily achievable'.

Hi, I am Steve who has been reading and listening to BP for a while now. 

I feel like I am pretty picky on the deals I would like to buy due to reading about the resale of the land being the difficult part of the equation. 

When I read this story I imagined some super cheap penny pinching person who even though she was wealthy still lived in subsidized housing.

I didn’t read anything about it when I read the statute does anyone have any experience with this?

Perhaps Phil read the contract, consulted with advisors, and decided to go with a plan B.
