The online-only lenders just feel like a scam even if they turn out to be completely above board. 

Valid application or origination fees are typically deducted from the loan amount itself.Be skeptical of guaranteed approval: No matter how bad your credit history is, guaranteed approval is a scam.

I know some people are really anti-HOA, and I am not a fan myself, but it makes scheduling lawn care or relying on a tenant one last thing to worry about.

not in landlord friendly states, not in anti-landlord states. 

Too many people on here stating nonsense and potentially trying to scam you out of your house.

To me that's just a form of scamming.
