My wife and I were scammed by Kenneth Shaw and a group called Memphis Mid South Turnkey Homes.

My wife is good at interior design and if I didn't have her in my life,  I might hire an expert for that.

If you have just one business it's not too bad(My wife uses it for hers) but it starts to get really expensive if you have a lot of doors and or multiple businesses. 

My first 9 years of my marriage my wife and I lived in 12 different places fixing them up and selling or renting them.

Leverage from existing rental can be a beautiful thing but pulling from the correct bucket is crucial.

When my wife & I were searching for our first home, I was set on it happening by the end of 2024.

Here is how we roll...my wife as the designer puts a spreadsheet together with links for each item with costs and quantity. 

My wife is a REP (broker) but is not a member of the LLC and is not involved in managing the properties.Property: 4 unit multifamily property purchased in Feb 2025.

My wife overrode my idea of terracotta/ rust orange and we went for Acacia Haze (basically a light sage green) for a kitchen that needed a little color.

My background is in the trades and my wife is a designer, and we know our market extremely well and have a lot of connections so we have an unfair advantage over someone just getting started with no applicable skills or knowledge or connections.
