For multi's, there are only a handful of areas, east of 95 freeway, near Summerlin, Spring Valley near chinatown, and behind MGM Casino, near strip, cross Tropicana and Maryland. 

Pine bluff has a new casino that will be opening soon, If your into golf The Pine Bluff Country Club is a nice track. 

Of course I would recommend buying a home with it, but you could head down to your local casino and put it all on red if you choose to! 

Will a casino fix things?

There are pockets of good areas, east of 95 freeway near Summerlin 450-550k, Spring Valley near Chinatown 450-500k, and behind MGM casino off Maryland/Tropicana (350-400k). 

You would have better odd's going to a casino and putting everything you have on black at the roulette table than you do of having a good outcome of a rental property bought via HML. 

Everything from city of NLV, Clark county government buildings, the friggin DMV, a few casinos, the outlet malls, the university, the hospital, most hotels, and the movie theater. 

I will add a bit more below;The casino project has portrayed a great deal of "hype" with many of Springfield's investors/residents/community.

So much money is going to flow into the area, and all the existing nearby buildings with the exception of the new Hollywood Park Casino need to get either renovated or torn-down and rebuilt. 

in a nut shell any business in the Zone if they rebuilt new construction or facility got to write off 50% year one.. so you saw hotels casinos  car dealers  medical plazas shopping centers..
