You now are competing in the arena where mortgage rates, economic impact, inventory, all matter now. 

It could actually turn the CPI negative or at least below 2% which should really encourage lower interest rates and maybe even quantitative easing which would really make financing a lot easier.

Yes there was outliers to both extremes but best to keep to medians.

If you weren't living there you could get a dwelling policy that only covers the building (since the contents wouldn't be yours.).I would go with an independent insurance agent, because they can shop a number of insurance companies for your best rate, whereas if you just went with a "State Farm" or "Geico" type company you will just get their one rate.
