It appears developers would rather fight endless lawsuits to develop in Bedford and Londonderry than deal with Manchester’s current leadership.  

I think the reason for my failures so far is lack of direction and leadership in the field.

However, it may not be a bad school if the leadership and parent involvement is strong.

Build(or join) a thought leadership platform, like a website, blog, forum, podcast, meetup group, etc to spread your knowledge and grow your network.

My "day job" is running tech (mostly software dev) for an internet startup, but I'm realizing that I'm not a city guy and all of the demand for my tech leadership skills force me to be in New York City.

I have personally been critical of their lack of female content providers, podcast guests and leadership.

It closely follows the Army traits of leadership training for officers and NCOs as well and much of the military approach to leadership have been adopted by many large corporations.
