In reality it was never meant for people to have to be able to raise hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars to be elected, nor for politicians be full time legislators.

It seems that even the politicians that get elected at the local level on a platform of low taxes, reform, and waste reduction end up getting co-opted by the system and eventually ask the voters for more tax dollars!

I think the entire state of Illinois shouldmutiny until new politicians and politics are implemented, until then I'd stop investing in Chicago, once the money finally stops coming in will change actually come.
