@Jared SmithIve had good luck leaving my husky in a property overnight..He's not actually vicious, but bes up and howling before you can reach the door.

I was a bit taken aback since it is a husky/german shepherd mix which does not fall within the confines of our allowable pet policy.

I know plenty of nice pitbulls and own a german shephard/husky but the statistics don't lie and I trust what is good for my insurance is good for me. 

The upper tenant, being evicted, was running a dog rescue out of the apartment and not paying rent (5 caged pits and some little thing running around), the lower, who had a husky, bought another husky and they in turn had a litter of 3, and then just a lab in the back unit.

I am a fellow husky grad and newbie investor in the Seacoast area of NH.

For example, are they asking to bring a Husky into a one bedroom apartment while everyone works 12 hours a day?

Another will insure husky. 

Regarding pets, we allow cats and most dog breeds except for the following: -any breeds/mixes known under common parlance as “Pit Bull”-Rottweiler-Doberman Pinscher-German Shepherd-Alaskan Malamute a.k.a “Husky”-Chow Chow-Great Dane-St.

The top five fatality-causing breeds were, unsurprisingly: Pit bull / pit bull mix (53.5 percent of the fatalities);Rottweiler / Rottweiler mix (14 percent of the fatalities);Husky / husky mix;German shepherd / German shepherd mix; andBull mastiff / bull mastiff mix.Notice that pit bulls and Rottweilers are one and two, respectively, on all three lists; with a wide margin between the top two and the next three.http://www.insurancejournal.com/blogs/academy-jour...While I do allow a well-trained family pet, I have strict rules:  breed restrictions (those 5 plus several more that I got from my insurance company), liability insurance, canine good citizen certificate or great pet interview with me personally, vet records proving vaccinations, age and breed (no puppies, either), proof of legal pet license, larger security deposit, and tenants' acknowledgement that dog has never shown aggression or bitten any human or animal.
