I guess in a rural setting it would be no big deal, but where we live it would be like wearing a Halloween costume walking down the street. 

I'd stand in the middle of the float in a Santa suit with a police megaphone and have four big old boys in elf costumes pounding the crap out of bass drums on the corners.

A young family looks at our rental house today with 2 of their kids dressed in Halloween costumes.

I know many millionaires which these days does not take a much.. and while I don't know any that I would call Mr. or Mrs Frugal but not all of them spend like crazy.. one partner of mine had 10 million in personal homes 2  and a Ferrari in each one.. his wife though bought costume jewelry and on short flights never went first class.. but then again she would never get on the company jet.. too small and afraid of flying basically..
