Within 3 hours of Weston, I’d look at West Palm/Fort Lauderdale (steady tourism + business travel), Naples/Marco Island (higher-end, but pricier buy-in), and the Space Coast (Cocoa Beach/Melbourne) if you want more affordable options.

Also, in our area the lots are super cheap only 5% or so of the cost is land.
