Hello, I am currently serving in the united states marines and am trying to map out how exactly I am going to start investing my money into real estate whenever I am out.

That is an endangered species of a borrower. 

I have a great cleaning crew that I trained to my standards (Marine vet = "white glove inspections").

If there are any protected trees/plants/species, sometimes that's an issue as far as not that you can't necessarily not develop just because they are there, but there could be a cost involved with mitigating the impact from the project. 

We are leaving that since that is a good lumber species.
