If you buy cash...it will take about 24 years before your $250K purchase doubles in value to $500K.In contrast, if you put down 20% or $50K on a $250K house, all it needs to grow/appreciate is 20% for you to double your $50K downpayment.

There isn’t that much brick and it looks modern...go at least a couple of shades darker but you do nit want a pronounced contrast.
