I haven't read the book, but I have mixed feelings about socialized medicine.

People forget that a big employer here, Scott & White, have many employees that need homes to rent or buy while working on their residency or starting their practice in medicine. 

Both do not know what they are doing - a doctor "practices medicine", while the realtor tries to "practice" in the field of real estate.

I left a career in Veterinary Medicine to start RE and never looked back.
