I may agree with James, that usually --after a manic depression-- the easiest way to expand the economy IS to further lengthen the debt maturity.

You either have not lived long enough, or are just another person on this forum with an ever-lengthening nose when you comment by judging others.

The  commute to downtown Seattle is  closer to an hour now at  rush hour and will  lengthen when people return to work return ....drove  there ar  rush hour friday and  it was over  an hour  from NE  Seattle .....no time frame on the bridge fix ...likely   2-4 yrs ...this has to affect things  but   there are  so few homes ont eh market now - it seems like there hasnt been much of an effect yet
