And for Vanessa, full disclaimer, the property is actually outside the city limits of Santa Clarita, out in the boonies off Sierra Highway in a small neighborhood that I had never heard of called Sleepy Valley.  

Straight up: I didn’t get enough sleep.

It was pretty overwhelming and I really wasnt expecting that due to the sleepy area we are in.

If you have 4 bedrooms renting at $100 a piece and you are using the $400 to qualify as the loan then the question would be where does the owner sleep.

Sleepy markets, or worse, markets where people are moving FROM, are likely to inflict the most pain or at least present the most challenges.
