@Leonard The noise wasn't too bad during the daytime but when I went in then night I could hear it inside  the house  due to more interstate traffic, which is what got me worried

Contractors can't leave tools on site: compressor, table saw, nail guns, extension cords, everything needs to be packed up every day and then set up again in the morning.

Hi Matt and thanks for your reply.It is supposed to be a good location because it is close to interstate 59 and also near the Bessemer industrial area.

They often have rents below market so that their tenants will not complain about a broken furnace that does not get repaired or having to run an extension cord to the refrigerator because the circuit needs to be replaced but the panel is so old the circuit cannot be replaced.

I'm not intersted in buying cash flow while taking on the risks of real estate without the upside. 5 is the big one for me.

Call then and ask if they would be intersted in selling and agree on a good price.
