I am new here, and I just wanted to quickly introduce myself.A few things about me:I have lived in Nashville my entire life, aside from this last year, which I spent in Portland, Oregon.I am completely new to RE Investing, but I am very interested in multiple types of investing, and real estate is a priority.Real estate has always been around in my life — My mother has been a licensed real estate agent for nearly 20 years, and she now works at a prominent staging company here in Music City.I have some software/programming/web development experience, and graduated a programming bootcamp at the start of this year.I have always been success-minded, and right now I am focused on growing my knowledge of investment in both real estate and the cryptocurrency/stock markets, as well as diversifying my income in general.Feel free to drop a comment and say hi!

Over the past year, I have learned so much about investing in general (Stocks, Cryptocurrency, P2P, etc) and now hold shares in each. 

A wire can be used but wire fraud is a huge issue so you'll want wire instructions to be sent directly to the user who should be instructed to verify the instructions before executing the wire.Don't accept/provide currency. 

Just not something that is harder to get at (I-bond) or can lose value unexpectedly such as stocks/bonds/crypto/gold. 

Personally I had a Crypto portfolio and a stock portfolio about the size you are talking about and I needed some money for an investment.

I have about another 10k in investments , 5.5k in my Roth IRA , and 3.5k in my Robinhood account as well as 1k in crypto currency

Healthcare systems are starting to get more stocked on supplies and are in a better place to handle more of a surge.  26 million Americans unemployed already, supply chains and businesses failing left and right, currency debasement at unprecedented levels etc. is going to have so many more ramifications in years to come that I think we really need to start opening things back up again. 

My money is heavy in crypto, had a lender deny me recently because "it wasn't real money

My friends say buy crypto that it is the best investment right now, I personally don't understand it but they are making more there than in their real estate businesses. 

I decided (thankfully) to move it out of crypto currency and into my specialty, rentals.
