For bigger properties, BlueBook is supposed to be a good catalog of companies but you have no idea if they are a good company or not. 

this is always a toss up for me...on one hand, i don't use my degree, and hopefully will never have to...the money spent on a degree (that some said above will take 40 years to pay off) could be better invested into a business or real estate if you're sole goal is income....on the other hand, i'm a better person because i went to college...i think the point of the whole liberal arts course catalog is to make students take classes outside of their discipline...literature that we were forced to read in college teaches us ethics, human responsiblity, empathy, etc.

@Jeff Coga I like the items in the catalog, but I'm not seeing any great cost savings there.

The rest ads fake letters postcards flyers catalogs local store sale advertising, just to much to keep up with.

Sorry to crush your dreams, LOL.A residential conversion might be the best thing to do, but I just doubt it, I'd say there will be more commercial ventures that could take the space.Here a theater was turned over for live theater, concerts, seminars even wedding receptions, but that town isn't like here, that might work but off hand, probably not.A bowling alley was converted into a sporting goods catalog store.

If you drive to Walmart and you buy household goods but also spend some time looking at paint chips, you will need to catalog both purposes of the trip and then deduct only the proportion that relates to business.
