We stay away from pull-out couches as that is our business model.I'm not a fan of pull-out couches or any situation that might involve myself or others sleeping in the living room but felt like it was expected for STRs.

While I may not build the underwriting models from scratch anymore, I still take a close look at them to provide valuable insights and make informed decisions.Apart from underwriting, I also have a strong passion for property management and renovations.

I’m not a fan of the Zillow application, but at least it’s “portable” to the tenant - they pay Zillow one fee and their info is available to multiple landlords provided landlords use Zillow to list the rental.

If you just want to dabble to make some extra money and don't have the passion to go all in, it's a tough business keeping up with all of the regulatory changes and balancing keeping owners happy with taking care of tenants.
