Dustin Oaks Mold on home bought

Fixing this is going to depend on how bad the affected area is.If there's just some mold spots on a bathroom ceiling, you can kill the mold with some vinegar, or bleach/borax.Bigger mold defects (like deep penetration) might cost you significantly more.If I was in this situation, I'll first get a friend out who knows what he/she is doing for input, then maybe start getting quotes from mold specialists. And you do want to do this as soon as possible - you're right this could affect your health and that of your loved ones

some have told me that I should pour a cup of bleach into two gallons of water and wash the whole place with this mixturesomeone else mentioned a bowl of vinegar placed in the middle of the floor.I have also tried Coffee which did help absorb a lot of the odor but there is still a lingering scent.I am frustrated because I am no expert cleaner. and I cant believe that washing the walls and doors did not solve this issue.
George P. yet another "carpet" thread
25 July 2013 | 15 replies
i bought one house (forgot how long ago) that had an old, old carpet.. the walk areas of the carpet were so thin, that you could feel the hardwood underneath. when we went to take out the carpet and pad, the pad had deteriorated so much, that 90% of was turned into dust, the rest of it (10%) was glued to the hardwood underneath. it took us about a day with vinegar, water, and numerous different scrapers to try to peel the pieces and residue off. hosing down the floor would be a nice option. like a prison cell.
