What are the rules or guidelines in California regarding rent payments when a rental unit is temporarily uninhabitable due to repairs?

I am worried that Trump may lose, and Kamala will destroy the U.S. with inflations, her stupid policies that weaken the dollar, the immigration will continue, etc...

That avoids a recession temporarily, but it only makes it that much worse when it arrives.

Although VA does have a renovation loan option, most if not all lenders have temporarily stopped doing them because VA will not allow VA appraisers to go inside properties for renovation loans during the pandemic.

And with the peak boomers retiring soon, the housing demand might weaken not long thereafter.
