§ 348-7Receptacles.A.The owner, agent, lessee, tenant or occupant of every dwelling orother premises where refuse accumulates shall provide and keep on suchpremises sufficient and suitable receptacles, with tight-fittingcovers, for receiving and holding the aforesaid refuse.(1)"Sufficient" is defined for the purpose of this section to be at leastone receptacle for each family unit or other occupant of premises andat least two such receptacles for each restaurant, market, store orsimilar business establishment where the aforesaid refuse shallaccumulate.(2)"Suitable" is defined for the purpose of this section to be awatertight metal receptacle with a closely fitted cover so constructedas to prevent spilling or leakage of its contents.
