All that said,  SP also has a great, active, engaged community,  several festivals over the course of the year  (its the only neighborhood I've seen people in full tradiitional dress riding horses down side streets for fiestas patrias for example) and neighbors put on an all-out august night out against crime every year.

Just strictly from a customer point of view as someone who rents a home every year when I visit Saratoga Springs, NY to attend the horse races there, the early check in accommodation is a super big deal for us because the races start at 1p and we like to be at the track by noon.
