From someone who grew up in a tiny 1 bedroom apartment with 7 people (a family of refugees), whose grandfather worked EXTREMELY hard to pay the bills without government assistance, paid taxes, but still lived paycheck to paycheck, I’m here to tell you that not everyone gets things handed to them on a silver platter.

The state of Florida is a net recipient of one out of every four domestic moves in the USA, and the Orlando Metro receives a disproportionate share of intrastate moves within Florida (think price refugees from Miami and elsewhere).

With Lowes, Rubbermaid & Ingersol, plus the college, there is huge demand without even talking about the Charlotte refugees. 

A particular duplex I'm looking at is located south of the tracks, east of James, and north of Refugee.

That was also the time when many refugees were settling in the town (it still has a large refugee population) so they were enticed with the cheap prices of the condo.

Also, I recall having a DSS tenant in one of my properties in up state NY.They where refugees from Ghana I believe, these folks where obsessed with house and looked after it to extreme lengths.Maybe a similar strategy could be implemented of renting to refugees who would actually appreciate a roof over their head and opportunity for a better life.Just my opinion.Thanks

A lot of stuff that resembles MLM according to their refugees, though I'm not in the loop on what you have to do to actually get a cut of the action - I haven't meet anyone that did actually get a cut. 

I worked with my local International Center to place two refugees into one of my units.

One of the greatest impacts will be the refugee situation and the ghettoizing (original definition, not common definition) of areas within city centers.Tough to say what this does to Germany and the UK.
