From someone who grew up in a tiny 1 bedroom apartment with 7 people (a family of refugees), whose grandfather worked EXTREMELY hard to pay the bills without government assistance, paid taxes, but still lived paycheck to paycheck, I’m here to tell you that not everyone gets things handed to them on a silver platter.

Also, I recall having a DSS tenant in one of my properties in up state NY.They where refugees from Ghana I believe, these folks where obsessed with house and looked after it to extreme lengths.Maybe a similar strategy could be implemented of renting to refugees who would actually appreciate a roof over their head and opportunity for a better life.Just my opinion.Thanks

One of the greatest impacts will be the refugee situation and the ghettoizing (original definition, not common definition) of areas within city centers.Tough to say what this does to Germany and the UK.
