Do not worry about scaling. 

One caveat I would tell you is that if you are not looking to do this on a bigger scale, and adding one deal maybe every couple years with no true passion for managing it along with working full time I would hand it off. 

My focus right now is trying to figure out how to scale, I want to hit a 10 million dollar portfolio of cheap debt. 

At scale you learn quickly what creates durable returns and what quietly erodes them.
