Everything from dinner to movies is too expensive (in my opinion) in SS anyways  

For a while my wife & and I did nothing but work to clear off the ledger; our big extravagance for several years was a once-a-week "splurge" at the Cracker Barrel for the dinner special.

For example, Joe (hubby) called me while I was still at work to ask what we were gonna do for dinner.

I just returned from a dinner party, where a friend (and past client, whom was a client before he was a friend) was there, raving about my skills.

Now that's some Aussie vernacular I had forgotten, much like "man that cars in good nick".On a visit in 2012 we had some USA friends in Adelaide out for dinner & when the waiter asked how her meal was she simply said "I'm stuffed", he smiled & walked away.

Yes, I am still waiting to buy you dinner at the Trout Farm Inn the next time you are in town (when are you coming through - seems like you have to now the Trout Farm is back in business).
