Culture has dictated less work more money.

By setting clear guidelines and fostering a culture of respect among tenants, many potential headaches with neighbors can be mitigated.

I have no interest in trying to learn a new corporate culture in a W-2 job if possible.  

In fact, they should find a way to make it back up to you, but that's more specific to cultures.

Pop culture has made it acceptable to vilify property owners/landlords because they are the "nemesis you see" when you cannot pay your rent. 

. - Financing: all cash- Building codes : none which is great.Also, most of these market outside US (or outside western hemisphere), is geared toward investors that "could work" within a deregulation zone/environment, so adapting to local culture is crucial.

No different than cooking your own dinner or paying for the convenience of having a Chef at the restaurant cook it. ya sounds good but your changing culture that has been going on for the buyers entire lifetime.

This is our society and the American litigious culture. 

Even without this cultural component, many intelligent and head strong off spring do take that baton and turn it into something incredible.
