You are allowed to establish reasonable rules for the animals, such as requiring a current Vet's health report and verification of current vaccines; must be on leash or in carrier on common areas and in stairwells, elevators, or other tight spaces.

They can call the carrier and speak to the underwriters to find out what endorsements might be available.

Brian,Because VT is a traditional rental market (ski houses), depending on the minimum duration you will be allowing for rentals (ie. monthly, Weekly, etc.) there are some regular carriers in the New England Market that will write it. 

@Emmanuel N OkaforWhen I was doing multiple SFR, using an independent insurance agent who could quote from multiple carriers (Safeco, Allrisks, etc) was advantageous for the flexibility and ensuring every year it was being shopped.

They are unbiased and know which carriers are competetive at any given time.
