We own a 2.27 acre. open lot currently own the small Ice cream shop (permanent parked food truck) We are looking for starting points on building a multi use strip mall style on bottom and apartments on the second floor with rear separate entry.

I wouldn’t really count too much on living off just the real estate- I see it as icing on the cupcake. taking trips, paying personal expenses, etc. real estate can be a business but it’s not really a business, it’s definitely helpful. 

With self-deportation, ICE raids and OUTRAGEOUS tax increases Illinois is going down the wrong path.

Putting my hard earned money into betting on experiences that people crave and rave about.It's a matter of whether I can pull money out or have to keep it in the build for a year.

Don't get discouraged, it's a new thing g and will be uncomfortable at first.I call this the "plain vanilla" business advantage (like plain vanilla ice cream nothing crazy), you want to look and act like a property management company (just enough to get that business advantage).

What your favorite ice cream is?

They seem to skew a bit more outdoorsy and thus from the best I can tell, crave a bit more of an unplugged experience.All anecdotal from my own experience and the forums I’m in.

The landlord friendly laws here are the icing on the proverbial cake.
