They mostly count on the buyers who are making decisions strictly based on emotion (the wife falls in love with the kitchen, etc) or based on impending logistics (the current lease is up, the pregnant couple who needs something bigger, etc).

I’m definitely drawn to the balance between hospitality and investment returns in STRs, and I’m trying to stay focused on learning without falling into data paralysis or getting emotionally attached to locations because someone else made it work.
