I went back to Minnesota and found employment and went back to school to get my computer science degree which has paid off quite well.

So their income goes up while their expected holding costs go down.This is not rocket science, but can be made much more difficult when interests are not aligned.  

@David Ingram there is a lot more that goes into the science of property rental than just price alone.

I teach the life science courses at my school, as well as a work prep class in biotechnology.

They can't really tell you anything you can't learn for free - and none of it is really rocket science.
