It's amazing how some people so quickly pounced on me, defending our supposed low inflation rate.Like you, I am cynical about the mainstream statements about our economy and inflation rates.

Maybe because I met the PM first or because the contract was simple and direct.As I review the boilerplate of the recent PM contract I see that "the Broker (PM) assumes no liability" and the "Owner shall indemnify, defend and save Broker harmless . ." and "Owner shall pay all fines, penalties, expenses  . . . with any claim, proceeding or suit . . . 

How dare you mention my children as you continue to defend the indefensible !!

I've been defending the true Turnkey industry since before you joined BiggerPockets and I take the responsibility of doing that for so long seriously. 

You can't defend against everything but your debt load is a drag on everything and no matter what the borrow to the hilt people on BP say, debt free people are generally happier and wealthier than those carrying large debt loads.

One may see me as protecting my own self-interest trying to defend the position of a program/product that puts food on my family's table.

@Mary JayMakes no difference here....The difference is just that the Seller is promising to defend claims on title to the Buyer occurring for different periods.  

As a property owner and business owner my largest fears surround defending ourselves legally.  

But neither the poster nor yourself mentioned anything to us at all.Both of you are asking us for opinions or to defend a position but expect us to do so without all the information?
