I'm just a small fish in a really big pond, there are some very large operators in my market, and everyone is getting mailed to by someone.So apparently people do also distinguish between mailers and make choices based on what they see and read.

Which we do, but we are counting it as every call we make and every house we research is another chance to learn more.)So that is the dilemma, and until we find a better method for such a low cost as well, then we will keep trudging through the "Number you called is no longer in service"s and the "I don't know what property that is you are talking about but it ain't mine"s until we hit gold.We are also going to purchase ~50 bandit signs to place around winchester in hopes that we get some calls with interest in selling their house, as opposed to trying to shoot fish in a barrel blindfolded as we are right now.Thank you for reading, hopefully this perspective provided some value to some who are also considering the cheapest way of getting into REI, and if you have any tips or tricks I'm all ears.

When marketing to off-market owners and principals, you are in essence casting for a fish that does not know that they are hungry.Your job is to get their attention, draw their interest, fire their desire to sell (to you) and to take some form of action, such as to call you, write you, return a reply card, text you, or possibley email you or even go to a landing page.

Then the other benefit is because I was with these clients on this journey I usually had access to fish in the ponds or hunt if I wished so that was nice.. and of course a few became partners in deals as I started to mature and do deals other than transactional real estate.being a broker to me is the avenue to meet all manner of folks and you just never know who the next one will be..Like the TEch guy who just sold his software company for 35 million in 83 and is buying a sail boat to live on for a year and what can you do with 500k..

I can go into many counties in CA and buy all the lots I want for 1k and under.. they are not developable or buildable but they are legal lots of record.. in the day if your old enough you and got hunting and fishing mag.. in the back there was always adds for 5 to 40 acre ranches in Texas,, Montana..
