I think Texas and Wisconsin are better bets based on the current political landscape. 

If the software you’re considering won’t give you that choice, I’d think twice.

For Commercial lenders, your best bet will be LOCAL banks who can possibly walk the property with their lending team.

I bet people would actually pay MORE for the property given the 50 year term...I just wonder what the restrictions will be - only for first time home buyers, only for "poor" people etc.

I’m not totally sure how all of that works yet, but I’m trying to learn as much as possible about long-distance investing so I can make the best choice when the time comes.I’m also interested in house flipping and short-term rentals down the line, but my main plan for my first deal is a cash-flowing small multifamily.

I bet they will be more aggressive with docs and questions along the way DSCR or not.

So it would be much more difficult for them to bet on appreciation.
