Couple of thoughts:1) Flips typically require better quality finishes than rentals. - So, if it too late to lower the finishes to rent it?

If you're in a deal where the contractor under bid to win the job and now is asking for money from you to finish, in the meantime your loan is going and going and eating into your profit and then your house will compete with other finished products on the market. 

If the place needs heavier prep or higher-end finishes, it can push a bit higher, but most investor-grade turns fall somewhere in that range.
