And even if you don't like it and end up preferring syndications, limited partnerships or outside management (though you can train your own management team - it's not at all hard when you've self-managed) you can at least come to that conclusion on your own terms and at worst I promise you'll have learned a lot about managing (even if it ends up being something you never want to do again on your own).

It's unfortunate you took my advice as an attack on you or a defense of PMC's in general.There are a LOT of bad PMC's and I have no problem calling them out.But, I also have no problem holding owners responsible for their poor hiring decisions.We've only heard your side of the story and I've learned many hard lessons from jumping to conclusions with only half the story.Best of luck to you:)
