I’ve had thieves break in and steal the lightbulbs during rehab.I don’t know how to prevent it.  

I may say in  2022 I will celebrate 20 years of being job free if people ask, but that's about it.Our sons are in the loop since they have been apt bld LLC members since diapers, get k-1s, have mutual funds and Roths,  but stealth wealth has been our mantra. 

You customers who ask me to do jobs on the side know you are thieves and you know my employees will steal the materials for your job just like you walking into a supermarket and stuffing steaks under your clothing. 

@Jaron Walling I think your best bet would be to quit your job and try and squatting in vacant properties until you can steal the property from the homeowner.

This is the way to control your loss if they steal the current rent and deposits.

Or pay someone to steal the cats.Kidding.

For toilets, I'd been using the 1.28 gpf type, but a fantastic .8 gallon per flush toilet is now on the market, it's called the Niagara Stealth, and it should be purchased at Home Depot(otherwise you're gonna pay like $50 or more to ship it somewhere.)

I suppose that DVR is my only option, but the thief can just steal the DVR by following the wires.
