On the job, they zapped me around the 3rd or 4th round of layoffs. 

Intel had a well publicized layoff .. and is the largest employer in Oregon.. but like this.. there employees are spread all over it equated to 600 jobs.just a blip really and not an economy changer..

I've seen my parents financially crippled under houses and cars they bought and lost because of lay-offs and poor planning.

I just read the main employer began steep layoffs because they are halting production until prices recover.

After two layoffs in the past 4 years, we have decided it is time to leave the corporate world behind and work as independent contractors, and take greater control of our future.

there have been some recent layoff's at big companies, maybe early sign of recession.

One spouse just got laid off and received a large longevity payment as part of the lay off.

Repeated rounds of layoffs have occurred at most firms.

The thing that is concerning me is what is going on with the trade war and  whether or not it will domino its way down into real estate specifically with lay offs that would reduce prices of homes because of people losing their homes.
