Tampa has a lot of draws, to name a few is Beach, Boating, Golf, Casino, Intl Airport/Biz Travel, Busch Gardens, NFL/NHL/MLB, Concerts/Festivals, and more.I would say Sarasota is a submarket of Tampa but has its own attributes as well.

You will notice that more people are out in Chicago during the summer with many activities (street fests, food streets, concerts, packed bars, etc.) than you will find in places that are always nice weather.One big thing about the cold weather is that is what keeps Chicago one of the last remaining affordable large cities.
